As the same time as the AutoBild show was held in IEC there was another exhibition: Tuning.bg`s Tuning Show 2012.
I arrived quite late and there were a **** load of people. Getting my shots people-free wasn`t easy. I had to wait for the Drift Show for the crowd to move from the halls and leave me to take pictures in peace.
There were a lot of cars. Not a lot for a USA meet for example, but for Bulgaria they were a lot. Also this year the show was far more civilized unlike last year when the show was held in a field under the scorching Sun.
The cars were divided into 2 big halls and the space in front of them. In one of them were the car audio competitors featuring a mad VW Polo that had no back seats...just speakers.

 The award winning Polo

 Got BASS?
 Ladorini Jigulardo
Something about slammed cars......always gets me.

In the other hall were the visual tuning cars. The styles ranged from clean, stanced rides to all-out Fast and Furious masterpieces. There were a few really interesting cars for me like the VW Golf II Rallye - one of only 5000 ever made.

 Fat JDM 350z

 Very rare Jag XJ220!!

 Really nice Audi RS6 rims.
 Check out that air intake!

 Generic Corvette
Diggin` those white rims and black exhaust.

 JDM or Die!

 SO CLEAN!!!

I have so much love for this Golf Rallye

 Low`n`slow

Outside the power freaks were situated. For them nothing is more important than bhp figures and they talk only in dyno graphs. For them teh people from HEED 91 had organized a modern "How big is yours?" device - a Dyno meter. The highest power at the wheels was achieved by an Audi 80 developing around 630 bhp.

 That lock...

 Who needs headlights anyways...
Maybe the most famous car in Bulgaria`s Drag scene
 All business!

630 bhp at the wheels anyone ?

Around 200 diesel bhp from this one!

Don`t drive it , slide it!

I another hall was situated a selection of full-on, no nonsense race cars.

 Balkan 250
 BulgarRenault Alpine A110

 GOT BOOST?

 Fat ass!

 Rivalry.

All in all I am very pleased by the turnout and the organizing skills of tuning.bg an is by far the most modern and competitive car show in Bulgaria to date.
